AUM opens office in Sweden
Singapore, June 18, 2008
To be able to fullfill the increase in requests from European technology providers, AUM has now opened up a representative office in Sweden where Mr. David Matiasson is the new General Manager.
"Since our incorporation in 2007 we have focused on bringing European Cleantech to Southeast Asia" says Per Dahlen, Managing Director of AUM Business Creations, "we have now reached a critical mass of clients and feel that the moment is right to open our first overseas office".
The newly appointed General Manager, David Matiasson continues "we are approached both by technology providers wishing to investigate the Southeast Asia market as well as Energy Providers willing to source world class Cleantech Solutions from Sweden".
So far the focus has been on renewable energy solutions, especially related to Algae feedstock and Biogas production. Recently there has been an increased interest in Waste Management solutions for Singapore and Biomass solutions for Indonesia.
"The Singapore government has now launched a recycling program and the demand for Waste management solutions is very high since the existing infrastructure is rather limited compared to countries like Sweden" comments Per Dahlen.
"We have some 25-30 years of Biomass experience in Sweden, Indonesia has a biomass potential of 50.000MW, equivalent to the whole nations installed power capacity, only 5% is being utilized today" adds David Matiasson. "We see tremenous potential in bringing solid world class Swedish Biomass technology providers to Indonesia".
Contact Per or David to know more about these opportunities.
